Major Achievements and Awards?? Professor Cao is the leader of the team that compiled feasibility report for a key national project for the eleventh five-year plan period¡ªResearch and Development of health Food. She also presided over the projects which were supported by the eleventh five-year plan-Analysis of Resources for health Food and Research of Its Development Strategies and Research and Industrialization of Oxidation Resistant health Food. She also took charge of more than ten research projects, such as the state natural science fund project, a project for those who have studied abroad with fund from the Ministry of Education, key scientific and technological projects of Tianjin, projects financed by Tianjin Science Committee, technological innovation project of Tianjin Planning Committee. She has published over 40 papers in major journals at home and abroad, including SCI journals. She is a co-author of Science of Food Nutrition and Food Safety and Hygienics, a textbook edited for the 21st century. She has also edited Food Safety and Hygienics, as part of a series of textbooks for the tenth five-year plan period financed by Tianjin Education Committee. She has won the second prize of teaching achievements at the state level, second prize for scientific and technological achievements in Tianjin, and an outstanding youth in the field of food technology in China in 2004.
