Major Achievements and Awards:Professor Wei has directed and completed many scientific research projects. He has published over 40 papers, including Enhancing the Enterprises¡¯ Competitive Edge Systematically, Developing Recycling Economy and Implement the View of Development through Science. His A Research of Toyota Production Mode, won the first prize at the 12th scientific book contest in ten provinces (cities) in the north, second prize of the 7th social scientific achievements contest in Tianjin, third prize of scientific progress in Tinajin for several times, and excellent scientific achievement in philosophy and social sciences in Tianjin. In 1993, he was awarded the title of ¡°Excellent Teacher in China¡±; in 2003, he received the title of ¡°Model Worker in Tianjin¡±. In 2003, he won the award for the talents returning from abroad for his outstanding achievements, issued by six departments, including the Central Organization Department of China. As a representative of the excellent scholars who have studies abroad, he was received by President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao, and other state leaders of China.
